Happy 4th of July

Wow what a weekend. Three full days off and it seemed like more. I guess that is because we jammed so much into it. It all started on Friday. I slept in until 430 when I headed for the gym to try out the spin class. I had a blast and it was a really tough workout. I was sweating too much to take photos but this is what it looked like:

It reminded me of doing wind sprints on a bike but it was a lot more fun. They turned down the lights and turned up the music and everyone really got into it.

When I got home we all went out in the boats and did some watersliding and fishing. Here are the photos of the water sliding that we did.

Saturday we had a good day at the market. It was much cooler than it has been and sales picked up because of it.

The lake photos are so fun! And that market makes me drool. I'm not sure why, but they don't have farmer's markets here. Out in the country you might find a road side stand but that's about it. Sad, isn't it?

My BIL and his wife recently moved to the Charleston area, in Moncks Corner. He blogs too at:

I'm going to have to tell him about the farmer's market because I know that's something they'd be interested in checking out.

Have a great week!
Wow what a beautiful market, we don't get one's like that here in Scotland unfortunately. It looks like you had heaps of fun!

Hey Greg! So glad you had a good 4th weekend. And what a way to start it---4:30 am at the gym. That's serious dedication!

I love the photos. Your grapes look soooo good. We used to have vines and loved walking out and just eating the grapes straight from the vine. That was another place... we need to put grapes in here! And watersliding looks fabulous. Keep up the good work on your exercise. Go Greg!!

Shark bait. Hee hee hee. You're so funny! Looks like you had a great weekend of family fun.

Love the pic of the church at the market. It gives me a much better visual of the market and the pretty surroundings. I'm jealous of your Saturdays! : )

Really enjoyable photos! I really have to get to our local Farmer's Market and take some pictures soon. I couldn't find Sean's blog on the bottom of your page though. Oh, and getting up at 4:30 AM...what time do you go to bed?
Looks like a great weekend. My grapes look much the same as yours. I'll be picking green beans tomorrow and the first little green tonmatoes have appreared - yeah!

So, I've seen various things now that you sell at the market - wine too? You're making it tempting to try to include a stop at your market in future travel plans.
