Fashion Police

I went to the local flea market yesterday and I must say either the trends are changing or some people are out of style. First of all, When did it become proper to show off your stomach when you are pregnant? I really don't have a problem with this at all but I remember when pregnant women wore those loose shirts that let people know they are pregnant without showing their stomachs. There must have been 15 pregant girls/women from 18 to 50 that we saw at the flea market that had on everything on from see through shirt, to half shirts and even a few bikini tops with jeans. Is this the norm now? Maybe its me that's behind the times. I mean I think a pregnant woman is a thing of beauty but seeing a 40 year old woman in hot pants with a bikini top that is 8 months pregnant and that has other children judging from the little "smile" may be a little shall we say tacky. Am I the only one that feels this way? Oh and along with this endless parade of pregnant women was a huge assortment of tattoos that were over 30 years old. Oh how pretty they were. :) Have a great day.

My plans have changed.

Well I had plans on working all weekend but those plans were changed for me on Friday afternoon. About 5 minutes before I left work on Friday, my boss called me to tell me that they wouldn’t be needing my services all weekend. It seems that my schedule was so good that it could stand on its’ own. So there went 20 hours of overtime that I had planned on. And all those plans that my family made around my overtime were also changed. When I got home on Friday, I found out that the riding mower had quit working. How bad could it be I thought. 10, 20, 30 dollars to fix? Well we are talking $300.00 just for the parts. But at least I have the ability to do it myself. I am sure it would be around $500.00 to take it in somewhere. And the sad part is I could buy a new one for about $900.00. But wait, I just found someone selling the part I need on Craigslist for $40.00. Keep your fingers crossed for me please. Saturday, I went to the market since I wasn’t working at my regular job (as planned).
