The Education Meme
Tina tagged me with this so let me see what I can do. I think I am already behind in one assignment and I promise to catch up on all my lessons.
What was the name of the teacher that was most influential in your life from grades K through 6?
That would be my first grade teacher Mrs. White. I remember her being so nice and sweet and she made me feel comfortable being in school.
What subject did you favor in high school?
I loved math. We had a really strict teacher and everyone except me hated her. She would move along so fast that it was all I could do to keep up but I really enjoyed the challenge. I remember she would finish a lesson and say “moving along” and every hand in the class would go up. She gave us 15 minutes at the end of the class to start our homework and I would always finish mine. Then the others would copy it on the bus ride home. It was the only way I had to make friends.
Did you attend a university and if so, did you attain a degree?
No and No.
Do you learn best through books, by watching, or hands - on?
I can learn by any method but I think watching is best for me. Once I see how something is done, I remember it or better yet come up with a better way to do it.
Has education been an ongoing process for you? How do you feel about that?
Yes I learn something new every day. I have to, to make up for what I forget every day.
What seven people are you tagging to do this?
Everyone I blog with has already been tagged. :(
