Happy Wednesday Everyone

We are having a heat wave today. The weather man said is was 48 this morning when I got up. I tried to watch the news but it was full of bad news and I wanted to start my day out on a positive note so I switched back to the weather channel. Not to dwell on the bad news, but what makes an actor so special that they take top billing over other things that happen in the world. Not to take anything away from them but they are a human being just like the rest of us. I am sure thousands of people died yesterday. Any accidental death is tragic in my book. It's funny how 48 feels so nice after a few days in the 20's. We got more rain this morning too so we are above normal on Wadmalaw Island. No drought here.

I really love the rain. It is so cleansing. And speaking of cleansing, I finished book #1. Yea me. Ok I know I am a slow reader. I enjoyed Genesis although there was a lot of violence and adult content. On to Exodus. Sorry no fishing today. You know you can't fish in the rain. :) Wow I rambled this morning. Sorry

Have a great day,

I love your ramblings. Send some heat down here in Texas. It's 32 degrees after lunch.

I'm cheering you on with your reading. Keep it up no matter what the pace. In the past I have picked only one verse to meditate on all day.

Take care,

I agree with Angie...I love your ramblings. Like sitting across the table chatting.

Yes, Genises is a heavy book...but wait until you get to walk for 4o years in the desert...!!!

I love your ramblings too! You write in a very readable way-- which is what my English teacher once told me!

I'm just up to Genesis 20. The Old Testament can be quite daunting. Genesis and Exodus are not too bad, but then you get to Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy! Most Christians don't know too much about those books but there are some real golden nuggets in them.

Came here via Wanda. I think I'm following her around. I find the blogs she likes, I like.

Ramble on Greg! My friend Ann told me this weekend to
"chew and chew" on small bits at a time to really get everything out of them. I love that. So, happy chewing! There is actually a verse in Nehemiah about eating God's word. Enjoy the feast!

Hello there, I just began reading but I had to say I agree with you on this one. Thousands died yesterday. I guess people are so interested because he was a well-like actor (I think). I've only seen one movie with him in it, but I guess people thrive on controversy.
