Short story Challenge

I got this from a dear friend named Cora. Her blog is called Maydens Voyage. She is the reason that I know that all of you out there are real. We actually met when she came to town and we spent some time together with our families.

Here is the deal. it is a challenge to write a short story using only 6 words. I am not that good at moving around and copying and all that so let me just give you the basics. Legend has it that it was a challenge originally given to one of my farorite authors; Ernest Hemingway. For his challenge he wrote: "Baby shoes for sale, never worn" Those 6 words tell a story. I wish I could write like that. But even though I am no match for him, I am going to give it a try. Oh you can include a picture too if you like so I am going to do that. If you want to know more about the challenge, check out her blog by clicking here. So here goes:

Where am I....................

Welcome home child.

That's it. You will have to figure it out for yourselves. Oh and I am sure my family was thinking that Dr. Seuss was my favorite author. Yuck yuck yuck.

Have a wonderful day,

Greg

I think you're talking about being welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven. But I could be wrong.

Hugs! Thanks for the visit today- I came by this morning and read about you nodding off in the car...yikes- be careful!
I wish I was in your neck of the wood this weekend...I'm getting pretty desperate to be close to the water again :)

Hope you have a gorgeous weekend- my family says hello to yours :)
I'll be making my way down I-95 again next month- I'm overdue for a get-away! :)

I do believe dear friend that you are speaking of our limited time here on earth, whether it is 100 days or 100 years, there is an eternity. For those who trust Jesus Christ as Savior, we will one day go home to Heaven and hear God's welcome... (smile) Looking forward to that day.

BTW - I posted on this today too. Thanks for the challenge :)
