Weekend Report and Pictures

I had a really good weekend. I started a little early on Friday by taking off an hour early. That always makes for a nice weekend. I was able to get everything ready for the Farmers Market so there was no rushing around at the last minute to get things going.

The weather was just about perfect on Saturday and the Market was packed. I can’t seem to get a picture once the people get there though because when they do, we get busy. Mid morning, my daughter and her family dripped in from out of town. We were able to visit briefly in the morning and then had a longer visit in the afternoon after we left the Market. This is how the Market looked and also how our display was set up.

We managed to talk my daughter into staying the night which was great because we got a chance to talk some more. Even though we talk via email and on the phone, it is always nicer to talk in person. My grand kids wore me out though so I woke up a little tired this morning. I think they get their energy by taking it from us old folks. Sunday when I got up, I noticed something interesting about my garden frog. It seems that one of my grandsons decided that the frog needed some water in his bucket. From the side though, it appeared that the frog had too much water and was relieving himself. I laughed my head off when I saw this.

For some reason, the blue birds aren’t using the feeder or bird bath we put out for them. I can’t figure it out, can you?

Have a Blessed day,
Greg

What a hoot Greg! Image kitty choosing a place like that to sleep LOL.
A neat display! I love the Farmers Market.
Ooo, envious about your market! Ours doesn't start for 2 more weeks, and will have little to show for a month or so, but I'm excited!

I remember the farmers market I went to in Alabama last year. Every thing looked so good having been grown in that glorious sunshine. Wish I could visit yours cos it looks just as beautiful!

Cats are the darndest creatures. I love them :)

Love your pictures. I was gonna ask what that frog was doing...

A gardener. Wow. I just have to look at a plant to kill it.
LOL! I think Kitty probably got sleepy after her Blue Bird lunch!

The frog picture is great - too funny! :-) I also love this: "I think they get their energy by taking it from us old folks." I agree with that completely! It seems the more I need to sit down and rest, the more my son's energy level increases!

I love your display at the farmer's market. I didn't realize that you have a winery! I missed that somehow...

Ha Ha! LOVE the frog photo. How very funny.

And wow, your Farmer's Market looks so quaint and pretty and CLEAN! I would love to go there. I've been to them here, El Paso, Honolulu, and Dallas, and that one by FAR is the cleanest one I've seen.

Ah Greg, I always smile when I click onto Greg's General Store. I always wonder, "What will the store shelves hold today?"

I'm never disappointed. The grandchild and the garden frog incident was too funny!

Have a good trip and be sure to stop on by when you return :0

God bless :)
