Enjoy the show.

It’s going to be a great day. Sometimes you just wake up and feel great. Do you ever get that feeling? Like no matter what you do, things just seem to turn out right. I started with a great workout at the gym followed by a clear ride into work with only a little traffic. All the while the radio station I was listening to played nothing but songs I like.

I stopped for coffee one last time because starting Monday I will be making coffee in my office. Here is another figure that will amaze you. If I stopped for coffee on my way to work every morning, I would be spending $400.00 a year on coffee. If I make coffee in my office ever morning, it will cost me less than $80.00 a year plus that gives me another 5 minutes to work out at the Gym in the morning. I will also be guaranteed to get a great cup of coffee this way. It’s another win-win-win situation. Can you see these savings adding up?

And speaking of the gym, I am running 2.5 miles a day. I enjoy running in the gym because I don’t have to worry about rain or dogs and I can watch music videos while I run. Each machine is equipped with a TV and a headphone jack. You may not know this but I really love music. Almost every kind of music. I like a song with a good beat and full background music. I would even like rap music if every other word wasn’t a curse word. I enjoy music videos too when they are good ones. There are a couple of new performers out there that I really like. They are putting out good wholesome songs and there isn’t any cursing going on. They are upbeat songs that make you feel good just like I do today.

So if you have time, check out this video. I know nothing about this girl except that she is from Australia and she looks like I feel; Very happy. It’s a little bubblegumish(new word I made up) and cutesy but I like it. Just sit back and enjoy The Show. Yes I am weird but I like me like that.

And have a great day,
Greg

Hi Greg, I'm an old friend of Scarlet's. Loved your post today. Like you, I really try to be grateful for each day! Your "green thumb" is a gift. My mother had that gift too!

We are music lovers too. I play the piano and cello..my husband plays everything except peddal steel. That one is in another league.

Check out my husbands My Space. You can hear some of his music. Click on "That's up to you and me" and Your dreams will open the door. The others are good, but from the 80's. Also, have you seen the site meetthephlockers.com? Lots of people from your area. Great group!

I have so rarely woken up feeling great, I think I might have been 7 years old the last time. I'm not a morning person.

that video was very cutesy! It can't help but make you smile!

I believe when you wake up in the morning - you can decide right then and there if you're going to have a great day! :-)

Sounds like your workouts are going very well. I could never be so disciplined to exercise before work. Maybe you will inspire me! (I always bring coffee to work in a thermos and it saves lots of money!)

What a fun little clip. Wouldn't it be nice if we could hop and land in all different places like that...while singing a happy tune? Like you, I woke up with a spring in my step. I know a few others who are X-tra jolly today. I hope your joy continues through the weekend and beyond.

Your posts are so wonderful, I invited my friend Bin (Smooth Sailing) to read you. :)

I'm glad you're having a great day - hope it keeps up all weekend!

That was a cute video. LOL!! I love music too, Greg. And about being weird...don't go changing to try and please me, You never let me down before...I'll take you just the way you are. (Billy Joel) LOL!! Well, you said you loved music!!! Just acting weird myself, I guess. *sigh*

Very cute video!

Have a great weekend.

I'm SOOOO not a runner. I'm just now learning to become disciplined with exercising at all...although I can't imagine that I'll EVER enjoy running. ;) My knees are too old and creaky for that. ;) BUT...I am very much a morning, happy person. ;)

Cool on the coffee $$ savings! We used to stop for a coffee OFTEN, but can say in the past year and a half, have probably only stopped 2, maybe 3 times. From now on, it's Folgers for me! :) AND, I got in on an awesome sale at Kroger, so I have some coffee stocked up in my freezer! :)

VERY cute song and video. I wonder if my daughter has heard her...right up her alley. :) Thanks for sharing it, I'll have to pass it along.

Blessings!!
Kim

Greg, thanks for the encouragement on my post today:)

What a video! It was crazy-cool-weird-annoying-cutesy-& definitely bubblegummish.

I personally loved the birds looking at the girl like she was crazy or something:) LOL.

Did you notice that halfway through the song, she said something about riddles??? You should re-check it out since you're the "riddle guy". Actually, after I heard that, I thought, "That's why he liked this song". :)

Thanks for the "out-of-the-norm" posts. It's great trying to guess what you'll post about next (and I've only been here for 3 posts!)

Blessings! Heaven

*Oh yeah, take Lori's advice with the thermos thing and save some money. Hey, the savings could be a mini-vacation somewhere:)

Greg, you know why you feel so good? It's all the working out you do! I'm serious. It's a proven fact...so why can't I get myself together and do something energetic? I am just not a morning person. Never have been and right now it's midnight and I have to MAKE myself go to bed. My body clock would work well on: Rise at Rise at 11:00 a.m. Bed at 2:00 a.m.

P.S. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the video! Doesn't she have a beautiful smile?

Great idea about making the coffee in your office instead of buying it! Who would have thought you'd save so much?
I'm glad to hear you had such a great day.
I can't watch that video. Something is missing in this computer that I need to watch it.

Aw Greg, you're not wierd, just fun, that's why everyone loves reading your posts!

Anyhow, good job for stopping at the gym and making your own coffee. Now if I could only figure out how to make hot chocolate like Starbucks, I'd save a lot of money :)
