The lord giveth and the tax man taketh away.

Well I am just about finished with my taxes. Lets just say the results weren't that good. I had hoped to break even but it looks like we will have to pay. I thought it was going to be better but when I got to the part where I get that new "tax break", I only got $150.00. Then in another section, they took away $5000.00 worth of deductions that I used to get. It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure out how much it helped me. Hardly the bailout I had hoped for. But at least we will be able to pay it without getting a loan. At one point, that is what I imagined we would have to do. So I am wondering. Did anyone out there, anyone at all see any relief from this bailout? Maybe I missed something. Can you claim cats as dependents? Tigger Tiger Cushing has kind of a nice ring to it doesn't it.

Well no sense dwelling on the issue. Lets just watch a short video that says it all.

And have a great day, They didn't take that too did they? Oh nooooooooooo they did.
Can we at least still smile for free?

Greg

Awww I am sorry you have to pay! I got hit too, if they hadn't given me that money I could of had more money come back to me. Just doesn't seem right does it?!
The pennies are cute!
Try and have a good week
Blessings
The sad thing is, it will only get worse, I don't trust the president to take care of the middle class like he says he will.

Love the video. I still haven't done my taxes. I've never waited this long before but I'm afraid, I'm very afraid. LOL! Ok I'm not really that afraid but I am praying before I plunge in.
Hee hee hee. Your video made me laugh. Thank you!

And here's a bright spot, you've got two more pennies than I do!

What a cute video. I haven't done taxes yet, but I will soon. Don't know what it'll be this year. Pretty scary to think about the economy, taxes, and the whole mess right now.
That was hysterical! Loved the video!

And remember - adoption is always an option - the child tax break is a blessing.

Greg, you are hilarious!

The only reason we got some money back is because of my husband's tuition credit. Nothing to do with the bailout.

Looks like if you want a break one of you better get back in school - before Obama takes that credit away too!
