Thankful Thursday

I decided that it was time I started participating in “Thankful Thursday” since I have so much to be thankful for. So without further ado, here goes.

1. I thank God for giving me the strength and drive to get up every morning and head off to the gym and my job. Sometimes I don’t know how I do it.

2. I am thankful for good friends, new and old who motivate me to keep bettering myself.

3. I am thankful for my family who keep me on my toes. Otherwise I might be a slacker.

4. I am thankful for the abilities that God gave me like the ability to fix almost anything and the ability to grow almost anything.

5. I am thankful that I am still able to learn new things like the new phrase I learned this past week; El Shaddai.

Have a great Thursday,
Greg

Hi Greg...the only problem with the lottery money is that most of it goes to higher ed for the Palmetto Fellows, Life, and Hope scholarships and lottery tuition assistance at the technical colleges. K-12 education hardly gets any...a precious little for the early years, I think, but "little" is the operative word. It's just a tough tough situation.

Greg, I enjoyed reading your list--at first I thought maybe I was reading my own!

Glad you've decided to join in. Nice to "meet" you:-)

When my son was in the talent show in 5th grade, a little girl came out and sang El Shaddai. It was the first time I had heard the word or the song. Even without knowing the meaning, it was one of the most beautiful things I had ever heard. Her voice was beautiful and full of emotion. Because of the rest of the words to the song, I could pretty well figure out what it meant and when I got home, I looked it up.

Now that is one of my favorite songs.
Great list! Wonderful new phrase for this week.

I could teach you a new Spanish phrase every week if you'd like. (Nothing bad, I promise...unless you want it to be bad!) :)

I like this Thankful Thursday post! Maybe I'll try it next week!
Great list Greg, I have been a slacker and did not participate this week.

Have a great weekend!
Great list! Thanks for joining us. I wish I could grow things. Other than growing my kids, I have a brown thumb.

Have a great week!
