Listen to the mocking bird, Tweet Tweet

Well I went and did it this time. I signed up for Twitter. Now I can tweet my little heart out just like that mocking bird that comes and sits outside our bedroom window every morning at 6am. I think he has it out for us because he knows we are the ones who brought the cats home. Last night while my wife and I were in the pool our cat; Mr. T was sitting there minding his own business (something he rarely does) and the mocking bird buzzed him and got him acting all crazy. Obviously they are not friends and have sparred before.

So I signed up for Twitter and out of the blue I have twitter friends. Ok some of them were already blogger friends but I do have a few new ones as well. Apparently I was the last one to get on twitter because everyone else is already there. No one ever accused me of being a trend setter. When it comes to change, I like to sit back and let everyone else test the waters and when I see it is safe I jump right in. It’s kind of like leading the battle charge. That first person always gets picked off. I prefer to remain back in the crowd in hopes that the people in front of me take the bullets. It’s safer that way.

I also jumped right into Firefox last night. Same scenario for this as it was for Twitter. I had to wait until I saw enough friends deep in the water to make sure there weren’t any sharks circling around. So far so good and it does seem to be faster. And isn’t that what it is all about? Being fast…... Beep Beep or I guess I should say Tweet Tweet.

Have a Tweet day, Haha
Greg

I'm a bit of a slow adopter myself, Greg. But, welcome to twitter!

I recently switched to Firefox too. Being of like minds, I think we should check with each other on which new technologies we need to begin using. :)

I am still not on Twitter. I have to try to manage my blogging time already..I think twittering would put me over the edge or at least my family might take my lap top away!!

I have been on firefox for over a year now....love it!

Glad to be following you on Twitter, and that you follow me. Thanks for the encouragement to hit the gym this morning! I did, and it was a success!

I'm afraid to get involved with "Twitter". I feel safer with just Blogger.com. Anything you comment on Blogger is open for the world to see. I have to 'behave' myself, or else. I'm doing good just to "blog". Good luck with your endeavors, though.

I do likes me Tweety birds eating out of my bird feeder.
No Twitter for me so far. I'm still trying to answer the question I heard a comedian ask, "If I Tweet on Twitter does that make me a Twerp?"

Blogger and Facebook keep my connected enough for now but I could change my mind once I'm sure all the splashing from people "jumping in" is over.

I'm a late bloomer too:) I waited until others tried all those things out and then I did. Let someone else figure it for me.

I flew the coop on Twitter. It just ended up being a "time stealer" for me. I am enjoying the mockingbirds though.

Well Greg, you're ahead of me. I'm finally on Facebook but have not tweeted yet! I'll have to check it out, cause if you think it's Ok then I'm game!
You aren't the last one...no twittering here.

Well I was only 2nd to last this time. I thought I was always last. :) Welcome to Twitter!

Now about firefox. Let's hear your review. I have twice tried firefox and have had immediate problems both times. I'm still using IE but rapidly getting to where I want a better option.

I'm twittering out on Twitter...on a book deadline and I need every second (where it counts). Have fun (tweet-tweet).

First I was obsessed w/facebook, then blogging. I checked out Twitter, peeked in, didn't get it right away, so I left w/o signing up. I'm slow to anything technology. Haven't even heard of firefox. Now I'm curious about that. It's always something.

I already stay up too late reading blogs.

BTW, did you see that fish I caught while on vacation?
