I took the day off and I am as busy as a bee in my flower garden. So I will try to post tonight if I have a chance. In the mean time, check out the flowers I posted on HOPE.
I mean day off??? Do those people from your work really need a break from someone that brings them that much happiness and smiles???
I guess so, but so glad that you are home instead where people can truly appreciate what you have to offer and instead enlighten us to all your wonderful humor and happiness.
Were havin fried chicken so crisp and hot, With tatters and gravy make sure and take a lot. There’s green beans and fatback and biscuits with butter, And cold cold milk, straight from the udder. Or so he said. This morning, I was thinking about what to have for supper. A couple of things came to mind. First there was some chicken in the refrigerator but I remembered Salmonella and decided not to fix that. I bought a beef roast yesterday but now I am having second thoughts because of possible Mad Cow Disease. I could always make a salad but we might get e-coli from the lettuce. Ok the only thing left is water but with all the mercury and arsenic in water these days, maybe I will just sit quietly and breathe. I just hope there isn’t a smog alert. Well I tried to go to Wordpress but I found it too difficult so I decided to do my new blog on blogger. I already know what to do here so it made the transition easy. Last week, we went and saw the movie, 4 Christmases. It was pretty funny in certain parts but a few areas were less humorous. Well this isn’t about that movie. This is a meme that I invite you to join in if you like and tell us about 7 Christmases past. No tagging involved here. Just play along if the urge hits you. So here are 7 things about my past Christmases. 1. The stockings were hung. As far back as I can remember we had stockings but ours were really socks. We didn’t have a chimney though and hanging them by the kerosene stove in the hall just didn’t seem right so we would put them on the edge of the couch by the Christmas tree. We didn’t get toys in our stockings like kids do these days. We usually got the same thing every year. We got an apple, an orange, some nuts with the shells on them and some individually wrapped hard candy. Coincidently our father liked those kinds of nuts and my mother liked the hard candy. 2.
