Winter wonderland.....In Charleston????

Well we finally got snow. It has been about 10 years since it snowed here so it is a big deal for us. We only got about three inches on the ground but there is more in some areas where it drifted. I heard that a few miles inland they got around 6 inches. Thats a blizzard for this area. The last time we had this much snow was right after hurricane Hugo and that was around 20 years ago. I know a lot of you just want the snow to go away but it is a nice treat for us. The bad news is that I was supposed to be already on the roof and starting that project but I now have to wait for the snow to melt. I would have never guessed that I would be delayed by snow. Enjoy the photos.

Have a great day,
Greg

Glad you guys finally got a little of our winter wonderland.
Blessings, andrea
I wasn't too enthusiastic last night when it started, but must admit that it is very pretty this morning. Looks like it is going to melt pretty fast though.

We ended up with about three inches of it. First time for us to have that much since 1989. My youngest daughter can finally say she has seen snow. The weather channel said Columbia SC had about 6. It's already above freezing here and is melting pretty fast.
We had about 3 inches, too (maybe more in some places). It's the most we've seen since we moved to Georgia 7 years ago. It was so much fun this morning!

So much for global warming!
Beautiful, more beautiful at your house than mine...Good excuse not to get on the roof! :o)

Isn't it amazing? I'm not sure how much more of this global warming we can handle.

Have fun in the sun! er... I mean snow. :)

Just stopping by to say Hi. I haven't been around much, having a hard time lately but I loved the snow! We were at the beach and it was so beautiful on the beach and in the palm trees. We got about 5 inches back at our house.
