Busy weekend

Where did that weekend go. It was a really busy one but a great one too. We got so much stuff done it isn't funny. The Market is only 5 days away but we are ready to go. (for once) We have a new table to accent our new display and we think it will make a big difference. It's all about presentation and we think the changes will be for the better.

It looks like winter is behind us now. At least in our area. We put in some veggies over the weekend and just in time. It has been raining all night and it is still raining this morning. As long as the seeds don't wash away we should have a good crop. I will have photos in about a week to show you. We already have onions and the potatoes are looking good.

We are by no means well off but God is providing for us and we have everything we need and a few things we want as well. We are learning to do more with less and that is a good thing. Of course they are expecting the same at the office; More with less but I can handle it if they can.

Have a great day,
Greg

We've had one more cold snap down here, and I'm about done with it. I'm ready for some blue skies and yellow sunshine to come my way!

Oh, and one year when we planted okra we had torrential rains the next day and for several days. We had about 4 of 20 okra plants IN our garden; the rest were growing in the cow pasture on the other side of the fence! Good times.

Hopefully that won't happen to your seeds. :-)

Have a great week, Greg!

I never fail to leave your blog encouraged, Greg. Thanks!
Can't wait to see the pics..We had rain last night too, I am hoping it did not wash away all the fertilizer my husband put down last night :)
This is a great post. God has given you a joyful spirit and the ability to see things as "the glass half full" which is awesome!

I wish I were a good gardener. I have tried for several years to have one, but I get burned out and then the weeds and bugs seem to win by late summer.

So, I've resolved that for now, I'm growing kids. :-)

I'm stamding at the window with the seed packets in my hands but there's not a chance of planting yet- the spring is at least three weeks behind this year here, and, since the snow and gale force winds arrived here yesterday it looks like it'll be awhile longer. Ah well...Glad the weather is warming up with yous anyhow!

I wish we could put plants in the ground now, I'm ready. But it is not warm enough here yet.

You are correct when you say, "We have everything that we need." I like to focus on that.
