Random Dozen Irish edition.
1. On a scale of 1-10, how superstitious are you, honestly?
I wouldn’t say I am superstitious. I do however read the signs. For instance if I have a close call while driving, I slow down. If I am having a really good day, I might be a little less cautious when doing something. I read good and bad karma and go with it.
2. Julius Caesar is quoted as saying, "I came, I saw, I conquered." Which circumstance or experience of yours does this saying best describe?
I think this fits with anything that I put my mind to do. If I see something that I want to master then I do it.
3. If I peeked in on your day like a mischievous little leprechaun, at what time would I most likely find you blogging?
Well this used to be 9-5 but now you are either going to have to get up early (like 4 am) or wait until I get my turn at the computer sometime in the evening.
4. Re springing forward for Daylight Saving Time, is there anything you've ever been really early or really late for?
Ha, I was just thinking about this as I drove into work this morning. I decided as of today that if I want to drive 55 on the interstate when the speed “limit” is 60 then I am going to do it. If those other people who get up at the last minute are late then it is their problem and not mine. I got up early just so I wouldn’t have to rush and I am not going to anymore. What I was thinking this morning was how I have been working for a very long time now and I can only recall one day when I was late. And that was due to a really bad accident where people were killed. Oh I am usually early for everything.
5. What are you most looking forward to concerning Spring?
Same as every year; Planting a garden and having fresh veggies.
6. Shamrocks are the national flower of Ireland and are picked on St. Patrick's Day and worn on the lapel or shoulder. Do you wear green on St. Patty's Day?
I do just so no one pinches me.
7. One of Caesar's assassins, Casca, said, "But, for my own part, it was Greek to me," which of course means he didn't understand something. Probably his own lines in the play. Anyway, what is something that is "Greek to you," something incomprehensible or indecipherable?
Chinese writing. Come on now, this pictures can’t mean anything. I think there were drugs involved when they came up with that alphabet.
8. Is March behaving more like a lion or a lamb where you live?
It came in like a Lion and now it’s a lamb.
9. "An extra yawn one morning in the springtime, an extra snooze one night in the autumn is all that we ask in return for dazzling gifts. We borrow an hour one night in April; we pay it back with golden interest five months later." -Winston Churchill. If you had one extra hour per day every day, what would you do with it?
Most likely work. It’s all I do.
10. Legend says that every Leprechaun has a pot of gold hidden deep in the Irish countryside. Aside from real gold or money, what material item would be in your dream pot of gold?
A world without hay fever. It is hitting me pretty hard right now.
11. "The best things are nearest: breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of God just before you." Robert Louis Stevenson. Look around you right now and tell us about something essential or beautiful very near you that you take for granted every day.
I really don’t take anything for granted. I will however say clean water. It is something a lot of us take for granted. Some people have to dig for dirty water but we can go to any number of water faucets and get cold or hot water.

OK Ok This was rigged. Lid cheated. There is no way her Irish name is Zoe. I mean come on Lid. Give me a break. Anywhoo, my Irish name is Owen O'Farrell which fits since I am as funny as will Farrell. My quote is: "What butter or whiskey does not cure cannot be cured." Sounds good to me.
Have a great day,
Greg

But then you are the clever one!
Enjoy your day!
And I didn't even connect the dots when I read that Lidna's Irish name is Zoe until you mentioned it!

Love the quote :)
