Thankful Thursday. I think.

I think it is almost Thursday and if that is the case, then it is time for Thankful Thursday. Again it has been a really busy week for me and I apologize for not visiting your blogs like I would like to. I really want to but life is really hectic for me these days. But in all this hecticktivity, (I just made that word up, what do you think?) I can still find things to be thankful for.

This past weekend I was able to help out a fellow vendor down at the market. I am always thankful when I can help someone. Our neighbor down there showed up driving a truck with a manual transmission. The only problem is that she didn't know how to drive one. And downtown Charleston is not the place to learn. So when it came time to leave, My son drove their truck home and I took the other girl in my truck. We got them home safely. Lets hope she got some lessons in this week.

I managed to keep my cool so far this week at work and I am thankful for that. But you know what they say; The week aint over yet. I am taking Friday off though so I only have one day to go. It has been a trying week for me.

I am thankful that my boys only have one week of school left. When they graduate they turn into my slaves for the summer. Its my oldest son's senior year so he turns into my slave forever. Bwahahahahahaha

I am thankful that the deer were in my yard this morning and not in the street. However when I first saw the glowing eyes staring at me in the dark I wasn't so happy. I watched too many scary movies when I was young and those eyes usually belong to some kind of evil creature. Wait deer are evil. To me in my car anyway.

I am so happy that I don't live on the gulf coast right now. What a mess we have gotten into. And I am also happy that I no longer work for a certain British Petroleum company. I'm just saying.

Have a great day,
Greg

I always enjoy your thankful post, Greg. I pray that this week has been joy filled and fabulous!

The coast of Louisiana is going to be a mess. I just hate what it is doing to the water life. And there goes my vacation in Gulf Shores! Ha!

I like your Thankfuls, and I like your comment about slaves! I refer to my girls as 'the camels' as I expect their help when out shopping and people look at me like I'm a terrible mom!!
