Thankful Thursday on Wednesday

Well here I am doing my Thankful Thursday post on Wednesday night again. Well the truth is I have such a busy day scheduled for tomorrow I know I won't have time to post in the morning.

Tomorrow my wife is having an operation on her heel which has been a long time coming. She has been begging to have it done and tomorrow is the big day. I am thankful for that.

I am thankful that I am getting to have Friday off too. I will be staying home to take care of my wife while her heel heals.

I am thankful that my son will be covering for me at the market on Saturday while I again nurse my wife back to health. It is actually going to take a long time but I hope to help her through the first few days anyway.

I am thankful that we are starting to get rain on a regular basis. Everything is again turning green. We have lots of flowers blooming.

And finally I am thankful that I didn't totally lose it this week. I did kick a copy machine, yell at a gas station attendant, slam a few doors and tell a few people what I had on my mind. But I didn't lose it and I am thankful for that.

Have a great day,
Greg

Ha Ha...Liked your last paragraph.

Know you will be a delightful nurse for your wife...Will that include a foot rub or will it be too tender?

Glad you get a break from your work, and have a son to cover!!

Good thankful list!

i will be praying for your wife tomorrow, Greg. Take good care of her and enjoy your day off from work.

Thanks for hosting this each week. It is truly something that I look forward too each Wednesday night as I write my post for the next day.

Much love to you -

I hope the op for your wife goes well and that she heals as soon as possible with no set-backs afterwards. I'm sure your son will enjoy standing in for you, my children like when they are given responsibility even if it is a bit nerve-wracking at first. Besides they need to learn things and they'll do it most effectively when allowed to stand alone occasionally!
I like kicking the copy-machine- that's a regular past of the school week during term-time for me!!!Its very effective too...
