Thankful Thursday, Little things

Wow where did this week go? I got up this morning and didn't even think about it being Thursday already. But when I turned on my computer, I opened my blog and realized; I'm late, I'm late....for a very important date. It can't be Thursday already can it? Anyway let me get going since I have to leave for work soon.

I am thankful that I got up early for some reason this morning. I must have subchoncioushly known that it was Thursday and that I needed to do my post. However it is 430 am and I can barely spell my name at this hour much less subconsciously. Hey I did it. I must be waking up.

I am thankful that we finally got our home loan to go through. After struggling with a certain bank of America for over 4 months, we switched banks and got done in 30 days. Now it is on to bigger and better things.

I am thankful for out hottub because my shoulder has really been hurting me and the hottub gives me some temporary relief.

I am thankful for our cats which keep us all amused. However we lost Mr. T last week so we are all a little sad at the moment. He ventured out in the street and was hit by a car. Even our other cats seem to know he isn't here. He will be dearly missed by all of us. I miss the little games he used to play. He would wake us up around 3 am to go outside by hitting the window blinds in our room. But when I would get up to open the door he would hide under the couch and make me hunt for him to let him out. He was a special cat.

I am really thankful for this cooler weather. It is a welcome relief from the summer heat.

Well that's about it for the day. 5 simple little things that I am thankful for. In all things give thanks. I know you have something to be thankful for too so please join me in saying thanks.

Have a great day,
Greg

I'm sorry to hear about your cat. You continue to amaze me with your early morning rise time and your commitment to having a thankful heart!

Peace and Love (just thought I'd quote my 20 year old Californian son there),

Greg - I am with my husband in Arkansas where he is preaching a week long revival! I just wanted to take the time to pop in here and join you in thanking my Lord today.

ooh... I'd be thankful for a hottub myself!

Have a great day!
Man, I could use your hot-tub. I have been having shoulder pain for about a month now. BUT, I am still thankful. God is good even in the bad times of our lives.
