Thankful Thursday, It's cold outside.

Yes it is Thursday already and my brain is almost frozen but I am still going to write a Thankful Thursday post. I could whine and complain and say; It's too cold but I am not going to do that. I like Thankful Thursday too much to complain today.

I got up last night at 1:00 and went outside to put wood in the greenhouse stove. Yes it was cold, yes I was tired but it needed to be done and so I did it. This morning, the plants are safe and warm thanks to me. God however gave me the caring attitude to keep me going.

So this Thursday instead of a list I just want to say Thank you God for giving me the opportunities to make a difference. I would prefer it if the weather was warmer but God gave me the opportunity to get wood this past summer and he has given me my health to give me the strength to get up at 1 am to keep the fire going. So many people these days are looking for the easy way out instead of looking for a way to get themselves out. I am so thankful that I know the difference and that I know where my strength comes from.

So today when you pray for something, try praying for strength and wisdom instead of the easy way out. It works for me.

Have a Blessed day,
Greg

Such words of wisdom, I take to heart. Greg we are cut from some of the same material. I give credit to my Dad, who like you pushed through and taught us kids to do the same.

I'm thankful for your work ethics and your thankful heart.

Love and Hugs

Greg - I always get a lift from your TT posts. I am sorry I didn't get a chance to link up, but me and my husband are in New Orleans for the weekend and I just got online at the hotel. He is here to watch football and more football.. I am here to commune with my precious Lord and SHOP!

Love to you Greg!

Sorry I don't understand. Do you warm your house with wood? Or do you have a greenhouse?
