Thankful Thursday/Friday

I know, I'm late but I did want to get in a quick Thankful post.

I am very thankful this week even if I still don't have a computer. But I am adjusting to not having one and realizing that I had become addicted to it. What in the world did we do before computers. I may just try to live without it now forever. The one at the library is free and it is nice and quiet down there. I have a lot going on and a lot to be thankful for so just let me say Thank you God for everything.

Greg ~ there are times I almost wish my computer would go on the blink ~~ but then I remember that through fb I was able to re-connect with a brother that has been estranged from the family for some time because of some stupid money issues at my mom's death.

But, he is letting the past go, and we are having some great times on fb so I guess I'm happy to have my computer.

I am thankful today for everything...God is so good! All the Time! And then some!!!

Were havin fried chicken so crisp and hot, With tatters and gravy make sure and take a lot. There’s green beans and fatback and biscuits with butter, And cold cold milk, straight from the udder. My plans have changed.

Well I had plans on working all weekend but those plans were changed for me on Friday afternoon. About 5 minutes before I left work on Friday, my boss called me to tell me that they wouldn’t be needing my services all weekend. It seems that my schedule was so good that it could stand on its’ own. So there went 20 hours of overtime that I had planned on. And all those plans that my family made around my overtime were also changed. When I got home on Friday, I found out that the riding mower had quit working. How bad could it be I thought. 10, 20, 30 dollars to fix? Well we are talking $300.00 just for the parts. But at least I have the ability to do it myself. I am sure it would be around $500.00 to take it in somewhere. And the sad part is I could buy a new one for about $900.00. But wait, I just found someone selling the part I need on Craigslist for $40.00. Keep your fingers crossed for me please. Saturday, I went to the market since I wasn’t working at my regular job (as planned).

Well I tried to go to Wordpress but I found it too difficult so I decided to do my new blog on blogger. I already know what to do here so it made the transition easy.
